Lennon Miller transfer price set as Liverpool, Celtic and Rangers eye January moves
Motherwell will reportedly demand a club record £4million fee for teenage sensation Lennon Miller.
The 18-year-old has emerged as one of the best young prospects in Scottish football and recently led his club out at Hampden as captain in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final defeat to Rangers. Miller has played in each of Well's 18 games this season, notching four goals, and is under contract until 2026.
It's understood Miller is in no rush to leave Fir Park as he continues to make great strides under boss Stuart Kettlewell. However, the Steelmen are braced for bids in January, with Celtic and Rangers keepings tabs on the youngster who has been dubbed a generational talent.

Celts shelled out just over £3m to prize David Turnbull from North Lanarkshire in 2020 and the Daily Mail reports that Motherwell will hold out for at least £4m for their latest academy graduate. The Parkhead side have yet to make a bid for Miller - the son of ex-Scotland striker Lee - but Brendan Rodgers is a huge admirer.
Gers have also scouted the midfielder but it remains to be seen whether they will have the funds to enter a bidding war, with Liverpool also reportedly monitoring the situation. New Motherwell chairman Kyrk Macmillan this week made it clear that the club plans to keep the rising star for as long as they possibly can.
He said: "Lennon has done incredibly well since he came into the first team. Obviously, he's now captain of the club over the last couple of matches, did it at Hampden as well for the semi-final.
"I think, ultimately, it's about Lennon's growth journey and we want him to stay at Motherwell as long as possible. It's great watching him every Saturday. He gets supporters excited and people are really excited to engage with him and his journey in football.
"There may come a time where Lennon decides: 'I want to try something new in another environment' - but, ultimately, we want to make his time at Motherwell as successful as it can be. That is who we are as a football club and that will be the same for Lennon as it will be, hopefully, for other players in the future as well."
