Lennon Miller 'walks' into Philippe Clement's team as James Tavernier told he will bounce back - Rangers news bulletin
Lennon Miller would WALK into the Rangers team.
That's the view of Record Sport columnist and legendary Ibrox skipper Barry Ferguson. The Light Blues hero is a huge fan of the Motherwell star and has heaped praise on the youngster. He reckons he has a 'little bit of arrogance' but in a good way and that is the belief you need in your own ability to succeed at the very top level. He understands why the likes of Rangers and Celtic would be desperate to sign the 18-year-old - who recently captained Motherwell in the Premier Sports Cup semi-final at Hampden.
Miller continues to hit the headlines with pundits continuing to wax lyrical over the Fir Park top talent. There is no doubt he will move on eventually and Ferguson reckons he will hang around with Stuart Kettlewell's men at least until the summer as he continues to get vital match minutes and experience under his belt. Philippe Clement has the likes of Connor Barron, Mohamed Diomade, Nicolas Raskin, Tom Lawrence and more at his disposal - but the Rangers idol would pitch the Motherwell man straight into his side.

He told Go Radio: "Personally, from the Rangers side of things . He walks straight into the Rangers team.
"He's looks a very level headed young man. I have seen him do a couple of interviews and he's got a wee bit of arrogance but in a good way. He believes in his own ability and I think you have to have that if you want to play at the top level. He certainly has that in abundance.
"For me, I see the reason why Celtic and Rangers would be desperate to sign him. But I think just now, he stays at Motherwell until the end of the season. "
Meanwhile, skipper James Tavernier has been backed to rediscover his best form for Rangers. The long-serving right-back has been up and down of late and was recently dropped by Clement for the Europa League draw with Olympiacos in Greece.
He was handed just the final five minutes of that match with Neraysho Kasanwirjo called upon for Dujon Sterling at right-back over the captain during the second period. He returned for the victory over Hearts and set up Cyriel Dessers' winner before being hooked on the 70th minute. He's come in for some criticism from the Ibrox faithful, but former Leeds and England goalkeeper Paul Robinson has backed him to recapture his better form putting his current situation down to just a 'dip'.
He told Football Insider: “I don’t think it’s got anything to do with his age, he’s just having a dip in form. The manager took him off in the last game after 65 minutes, so that shows where they’re at.
“He’s come under a little bit of criticism from the Rangers support as well; it doesn’t come through a lack of trying. Somebody like James Tavernier, the minimum requirement is maximum effort, and that’s the type of player that he is.
“He’ll be finding that as difficult as anybody, but it’s something that he will rediscover. When such an influential player both defensively and offensively isn’t firing as you would expect him to, it’s bound to have an effect on the rest of the team.”
