Liam Kelly 'eyed' by Celtic as Brendan Rodgers plots free transfer for Motherwell goalkeeper

Liam Kelly is reportedly being "eyed" for a summer free transfer to Celtic as they look for a Joe Hart replacement.

The Hoops are on the lookout for a new stopper with Hart planning to retire at the end of the current campaign and Motherwell's Kelly would be available on a free with his deal expiring. Ben Siegrist is also on his way out of the club next season which would leave another spot open on Brendan Rodgers' squad.

According to the Daily Mail, the manager is a fan of Kelly with the 28-year-old also very well known to goalkeeper coach Stevie Woods from the Scotland set-up.

Kelly is hopeful of breaking into Steve Clarke's international squad for this summer's Euros and a move to Parkhead would surely be an interesting option for the former QPR and Livingston goalie.

The Well stopper also has interested parties down south should a move to Celtic not materialise.
