Linda Pizzuti sends Man City message after Liverpool moves top of the Premier League
John Henry's wife Linda Pizzuti congratulated Bournemouth for its win against Manchester City as Liverpool moved back to the top of the Premier League.
Arne Slot's side secured a 2-1 victory over Brighton on Saturday to move two points clear of the reigning champion, which lost by the same scoreline to the Cherries in what was a shock result for Pep Guardiola's outfit.
With title rival Arsenal also dropping points once more in its 1-0 defeat to Newcastle earlier in the day, therefore allowing Liverpool to create a seven point gap between the two sides with its own win, things couldn't have gone better for the Reds.

And just to rub salt into the wounds of Man City after it saw its remarkable 32-game unbeaten run in the Premier League come to an end with Saturday's lackluster display, the wife of Liverpool's owner aimed a subtle dig with her congratulatory message online.
Pizzuti, who is also a partner of Liverpool’s owners Fenway Sports Group, wrote on Instagram: "Liverpool and @afcb with two big 2-1 victories today. Ten matches in, with Liverpool on top of the league!"
Next up in the Premier League for Liverpool is another tricky home tie against Aston Villa next Saturday, which could move to within four points of the Reds with a victory away to top four rivals Tottenham Hotspur today.
City, meanwhile, must travel to face Brighton on the same day, which could prove to be another awkward affair for Guardiola's outfit as it prepares to come up against a side which is yet to lose at home in the top flight this season.
Should the reigning champion drop further points, it could see Liverpool open up a considerable gap with victory over Aston Villa, which would put Slot's outfit in a rather healthy position heading into the international break.
However, both sides must overcome Champions League duties prior to next weekend's Premier League games, with Liverpool hosting Xabi Alonso's Bundesliga champion Bayer Leverkusen and Manchester City traveling to face unbeaten Portuguese champion Sporting Lisbon on Tuesday.
Liverpool and Manchester City will finally meet on Sunday, December 1 on the second weekend back after this month's international break, where the Reds have an opportunity to lay down a real marker with their title credentials with a win against their biggest competitors.
