College football scores, results: No. 10 Texas A&M blown out by South Carolina, No. 11 Clemson falls to Louisville

SMU throttles previously undefeated Pitt in impressive fashion. The Mustangs are 8-1 and 5-0 in ACC play, tied with Miami for first place atop the conference.

It was shaky at times, as the Vols trailed at halftime. But UT gets the win it needed to improve to 7-1 and 4-1 in SEC play.

The Tigers suffer another big loss — this time in a vital ACC clash against Louisville.

The Gamecocks won this one going away, scoring 24 straight points after being tied with the Aggies at halftime.

The Gamecocks tack on another touchdown for good measure, another one by Rocket Sanders.

South Carolina 44, Texas A&M 20

Dylan Sampson pushes the pile into the end zone for a 6-yard touchdown run.

And the lead is back up to 10 for UT with 4:55 to play.

Tennessee 28, Kentucky 18

The score also helped Sampson break the UT single-season rushing TD record (19).

The Gamecocks are going to win another big one! LaNorris Sellers hits Joshua Simon for a short pass and he runs it 57 yards for a touchdown.

It's too little, too late for the Tigers as Phil Mafah runs it in for a touchdown.

Louisville 33, Clemson 21

Facing a fourth-and-21 with just over 5 minutes left in the game, Texas A&M has to punt it back to South Carolina.

That's ballgame, folks! Isaac Brown just ripped right through the Clemson defense for a quick-hitting 45-yard touchdown run and that'll all but do it for this one.

Louisville 33, Clemson 14

After curiously going for an extra point instead of a two-point conversion, Clemson kicks an onside kick and Louisville recovers it. So the Tigers still trail by 12 with under 6 minutes left in the game.

Just when you thought Tennessee was about to put this one away, UK comes right back with a TD drive led by new QB Gavin Wimsatt. Drive was capped by Ja'Mori Maclin's incredible one-handed 32-yard catch in the end zone. It's a 3-point game in Knoxville after UK converts on the 2-point try.

Tennessee 21, Kentucky 18

The Tigers get one back on a short run by Phil Mafah, but they're running out of time. We're under the 6-minute mark now.

Louisville 26, Clemson 14

The Gamecocks have the ball right back on a poor decision by Marcel Reed. It briefly appeared that O'Donnell Fortune returned the interception for a touchdown, but he was ruled to have stepped out.

There's under 14 minutes left in this one.

Nico Iamaleava's 6-yard touchdown pass to Miles Kitselman pays off a huge interception by UT's Will Brooks on a pass by Kentucky QB Brock Vandagriff. Brooks returned it all the way to the UK 10-yard line to set up the score.

The Tigers' day goes from bad to worse as a short field goal attempt is blocked.

It's Louisville ball and that could be the death knell for Clemson with just over 12 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

The Cardinals came out of the halftime break and just kept on plugging away. They've had two field goals in two second-half possessions so far. The Tigers appear to be in trouble — especially on offense.

Just like that, Rocket Sanders has delivered a gamebreaker early in the second half. The star running back just bolted right through Texas A&M's defense for a 52-yard touchdown.

South Carolina 27, Texas A&M 20

Just look at this wild interception in an otherwise plodding and ugly game between Iowa and Wisconsin:

An ambulance is on the field for SMU DB AJ Davis, who went down with an apparent neck injury.

Long delay to get him loaded onto a stretcher. There are early reports that Davis is able to move, per the broadcast.

The Mustangs continue their first-half domination of No. 18 Pitt.

The Gamecocks came out of the gate hot, but it's been almost all Aggies ever since.

The Cardinals increase their lead to 10 just before halftime on a short TD run by Keyjuan Brown.

There's under a minute left in the first half for the Tigers to work with.

The Tigers were trying to tie it up before halftime and instead had their long attempt blocked. The Cardinals return the blocked kick past midfield and are in great shape to score again.

The Gamecocks had pieced together a decent drive, but it fizzled out just short of field goal range and they turn it back over to the Aggies after a fourth-down conversion fails.

Brashard Smith breaks free for a 71-yard TD run and the Mustangs are rolling against undefeated Pitt so far!

Max Gilbert's 40-yard field goal attempt sails wide right. It's his second miss of the game and the Vols remain scoreless early in the 2nd quarter.

The Cardinals have retaken the lead! Shortly after a long screen pass to Duke Watson, Louisville finds the end zone on a leaping flip by quarterback Tyler Shough.

The Aggies have cut into the Gamecocks' lead with this 56-yard touchdown sprint by Amari Daniels.

And it was set up by Moochie Dixon's clutch 23-yard catch on the sideline to convert a 3rd and 18.
