Cowboys hold on to beat Giants in injury-filled game on Thursday Night Football

It wasn't pretty, but the Cowboys bounce back against a Giants team that could move the ball, but couldn't break through when it mattered. Now, both teams take a deep breath and hope their stars are OK.

And that will do it.

The Cowboys kicker is the best in the NFL and he just missed the first 50-plus yard field goal attempt of his career. The Giants will get the ball back on their own 41 with 28 seconds left.

The Giants are out of timeouts, the Cowboys got a fresh set of downs with less than three minutes to play and Nabers just went to the locker room.

Micah Parsons, Malik Nabers, Trevon Diggs, DeMarcus Lawrence. Parsons is now being carted off to the locker room, while Nabers is in the blue tent.

After three straight fourth down conversions, the Giants go for it one more time on 4th-and-6. Daniel Jones scrambles and finds Malik Nabers on the sideline, but Nabers can't hold onto the ball. And now Nabers looks hurt. Not the best few seconds for New York.

The Giants make another field goal, this time a 42-yarder from Greg Joseph to go 5-for-5 on the game. New York has been moving well on offense, but they just can't break through for a TD. But hey, one more stop and a field goal gives them the lead.

It's unclear what happened during a tackle, but Cowboys CB Trevon Diggs is leaving the field with trainers after nursing his ankle. Looks like he's headed immediately to the locker room. That could be big with the way the Giants are looking for Nabers, whom Diggs was primarily covering.

Giants go for it on 4th-and-3 and Jones hits Nabers on a short route in front of Trevon Diggs. He's mostly kept the passes conservative, but this has been Jones' best game of the season.

DeMarcus Lawrence had his right foot retaped for more arch support, according to Kaylee Hartung. He's still on the sideline holding his helmet and has not returned to the game.

On their next possession, Daniel Jones gets tackled for a five-yard loss on a 2nd-and-5 zone read. He hits Wan'Dale Robinson for a six-yard pass on the next play, but short of the first down.

Cowboys' first drive of the second half sputters after a holding penalty on Tyler Guyton, pushing them back to the Giants' 42.

But with Brandon Aubrey's boomstick leg, they still get points. He hits a 60-yard field goal easily for a 17–12 Dallas lead.

Giants got a bit conservative once they reached the 10. Jones was moving the ball through the air, completing five passes for 70 yards before that last five-yard completion.

DeMarcus Lawrence apparently suffered an ankle injury. After being checked on the sideline, he's going to the locker room.

Daniel Jones has completed his first three passes of the second half for a combined 36 yards.

He's only thrown two incompletions so far tonight.

However, Parsons is still on the sideline with his helmet off.

Cowboys take over and go 70 yards in five plays, finished off with a 55-yard pass from Dak Prescot to CeeDee Lamb.

Lamb is presumably happy with how Week 4 is going so far. Maybe too happy, as he drew a 15-yard penalty for taunting.

Replay showed Micah Parsons collided with Mazi Smith, taking a shot to the head off Smith's hip. Officials noticed the hit and got Parsons out of the game.

He's out of the tent after being examined and has his helmet, according to Prime Video's Kaylee Hartung.

But the story at this moment is Micah Parsons.

Cowboys EDGE Micah Parsons is out of the game after getting hurt on a five-yard pass to Wan'Dale Robinson. It's not clear how exactly he got hurt, whether on a block or colliding with a teammate on a tackle.

Parsons is being checked in the sideline medical tent.

Last week, Lamb had four catches for 67 yards and got into a sideline spat with Dak Prescott, unhappy with how he was being utilized.

Replay shows that the officials got the facemask penalty on Daniel Bellinger wrong. Even worse, DeMarvion Overshown grabbed Bellinger's facemask and missed it.

A facemask penalty on Daniel Bellinger gave the Giants a 2nd-and-18 from the Dallas 48-yard line.

Daniel Jones completes two consecutive passes to Wan'Dale Robinson for a combined 14 yards, not enough for the first down.
