Liverpool made it three out of three in the Champions League with a 1-0 victory over RB Leipzig in Germany on Wednesday evening. Darwin Nunez tapped home from close range to give the Reds maximum points and make it 11 victories from 12 for new head coach Arne Slot.

The Reds will now turn their attention to a huge Premier League clash with fellow title hopefuls Arsenal, who have stumbled of late as injuries catch up with Mikel Arteta's side.

And here we look ahead to the changes Slot could make when his team are next in action.

Full-back switch

Slot has started to rotate his squad a little more recently with a number of matches to contend with before the international break. Caoimhin Kelleher, however, is an automatic pick in goal ahead of Vitezslav Jaros, with Alisson Becker out with a hamstring injury.

Things are different at full-back, where Slot was able to afford Andy Robertson a rest with Kostas Tsimikas starting at RB Leipzig. The Scot's seniority, though, should see him reinstated at the Emirates. On the right-hand side, Trent Alexander-Arnold will likely continue , with Joe Gomez as back-up. Conor Bradley is injured.

Jarell Quansah remains a reserve, with Ibrahima Konate and Virgil van Dijk the established pairing at centre-back as things stand.

Curtis Jones question

Alexis Mac Allister was restored to the Liverpool side against Leipzig, despite the strong performance of Curtis Jones against Chelsea. Slot put that down to the fact that Jones has yet to play 90 minutes for Liverpool this season, but another encouraging cameo from the bench in Germany will give the Dutchman food for thought ahead of Arsenal.

Ryan Gravenberch remains an ever present and Dominik Szoboszlai worked hard against Leipzig, so is an option to drop to the bench against Arsenal. Wataru Endo is another option should Slot see fit to use him.

Harvey Elliott is still injured. Tyler Morton and Trey Nyoni are the other alternatives in the engine room. Neither are realistically in contention to start, however.

Jota problem as Diaz pushes

Further forward, Liverpool will check on the fitness of Diogo Jota, who missed the Leipzig game with an upper body injury suffered against Chelsea. The Portuguese suffered bruising and will be a major doubt for the trip to the Emirates.

Darwin Nunez stepped in for Jota and put in another good display, scoring Liverpool's winning goal. He also should have had a penalty after a first-half challenge by Willi Orban. The Uruguayan is therefore expected to be given the nod against Arsenal.

Cody Gakpo started his third consecutive match on the left side of Liverpool's attack, but Luis Diaz is pushing for a recall after a substitute appearance against Leipzig.

Mohamed Salah's substitution should ensure he starts against the Gunners. Federico Chiesa hasn't been fit enough to feature in three weeks.
