Liverpool vs Manchester City simulated to predict huge Premier League title clash
Liverpool's clash with Manchester City later today could prove to be vital in the Reds' Premier League title charge, where a win for Arne Slot's side would send them 11 points clear of their title rivals.
Everything seems to be falling into place for Liverpool in recent weeks. As the Reds came from behind to beat Southampton in their last Premier League outing, Man City lost again, allowing Slot's side to move eight points clear at the top of the table. Liverpool then ended a 15-year wait for a win over Real Madrid with a statement victory in the Champions League, keeping the Reds top of the Champions League table as well.
Now, Liverpool have the chance to move an astonishing 11 points ahead of Man City in the Premier League after just 13 games when the two sides meet at Anfield later today. Both meetings between the Reds and City ended in 1-1 draws last season, though Slot's side are favourites heading into this one based on current form.

Trent Alexander-Arnold is fit for the clash with City, and it's good timing with Conor Bradley expected to miss out after coming off injured midweek. Ibrahima Konate also picked up a knock in the win over Real Madrid, with the Reds sweating over the Frenchman's availability.
So, can Liverpool extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table? Let's take a look...
Liverpool vs Manchester City Premier League score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that Liverpool could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Kelleher; Alexander-Arnold, Gomez, Van Dijk, Robertson; Gravenberch, Mac Allister; Salah, Szoboszlai, Diaz; Nunez.
We predict that City could set up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their line-up as follows: Ederson; Walker, Akanji, Dias, Gvardiol; Lewis, Gundogan; Silva, De Bruyne, Nunes; Haaland.
The first half at Anfield was tense and scrappy, and in the 44th minute, Liverpool were handed a huge boost as Bernardo Silva was sent off after picking up two yellow cards in the space of 10 minutes. With the man advantage, the Reds started to dominate the game in the second half, but against the run of play, City showed just how dangerous they can be as they took the lead.
A swift counterattack saw City hit Slot's side on the break, with Kevin De Bruyne leading the charge. The Belgian picked out Erling Haaland's surging run through the middle as he peeled away from Joe Gomez into space, and after one touch out of his feet, the striker fired into the far corner to make it 1-0.
With an hour on the clock, Slot introduced Curtis Jones and Cody Gakpo in an attempt to turn the game on its head, and they almost found an equaliser moments later when Gakpo rattled the post with a driven shot on the left. The Liverpool pressure continued, and in the 74th minute, they found a goal.
A smart dummy from Jones allowed Diaz's pass from the left to roll past the midfielder into the feet of Darwin Nunez, who had dropped out of the box to receive the ball. Nunez managed to pick out Salah who drifted into the space left behind by the Uruguayan, and a first-time finish beat Ederson at his near post to level the score.
The Reds came agonisingly close to grabbing a winner when substitute Harvey Elliott tried his luck from 20 yards out, but his curling effort skimmed the outside of the post as the points were shared.
