Liverpool will go into the Merseyside derby three points adrift of the top of the Premier League table.

The Reds take on Everton at Goodison Park on Wednesday night in the top flight as their quest for a league title triumph continues. Liverpool go into the game on the back of the 3-1 win over Fulham at the weekend, their first victory in the league since the start of April.

Jurgen Klopp's side go into the game against Everton in second place, but are now three points behind Arsenal in the table. The Gunners recorded a 5-0 win over Chelsea on Tuesday night to extend their lead at the top of the standings.

Manchester City have played two games fewer than Arsenal, one less than Liverpool, and are in third place and one point behind the Reds. Even with a win over the Blues, Arsena's superior goal difference means Liverpool have a near-impossible task of climbing to the top of the table on Wednesday night.
