Liverpool extended their lead at the top of the Premier League table with a victory over Aston Villa. The Reds claimed a 2-0 win at Anfield in their final match before the November international break.

The win from Liverpool against Villa came after the Reds had the chance to extend their lead at the top of the Premier League table following Manchester City's defeat to Brighton. Slot and Co. are now five points clear of Pep Guardiola's side and 10 ahead of Arsenal who face Chelsea on Sunday afternoon.

Liverpool will now look ahead to the end of November before they return to Premier League action following the final international break of the calendar year. The Reds are not back in action until November 24 when they travel to face Southampton at St Mary's before hosting Real Madrid in the Champions League a few days later.
