Cheltenham Town midfielder Brandon Liggett has joined Gloucester City for an initial month's loan.

The 18-year-old, who is also comfortable at right-back, spent time with the Tigers in National League North last season, as well as spells at Swindon Supermarine and Hungerford Town.

He was loaned out to Salisbury FC earlier this campaign and will now continue his development with Southern League Premier South side Gloucester, who are second in the table behind Merthyr Town.

First year professional Liggett has made two EFL Trophy starts for Cheltenham, helping Michael Flynn's side defeat West Ham United Under-21s and Reading at home.

He also made one appearance from the bench last season, facing West Ham Under-21s for the final 13 minutes at Whaddon Road.
