London Broncos confirm latest re-signing as powerful message given
London Broncos have confirmed that Sadiq Adebiyi has re-signed with the club for the 2025 season, with the forward delivering a powerful message.
The 27-year-old is a product of the Broncos' academy system and was a regular throughout the 2024 season. He is the fourth player to commit to the Wimbledon-based club, joining Marcus Stock, Lewis Bienek, and Harry Stevens.
The Broncos' struggles have been well documented this off-season, with Mike Eccles laying out the situation at a recent fans forum. The club must raise over £1,000,000 to finish the calendar year and complete next season. However, Eccles is confident the club will rise again, not ruling out a Super League place in the future. The club scored well in the IMG rankings last week, finishing 14th with 12.65 points.
That score will rise with another strong season in the Championship, with Adebiyi, who has 68 London appearances to his name, outlining his belief in the team and the club.
"I'm happy to be staying at London and with this club, even in these challenging times," he said. "I believe in the potential of this team and the passion of our supporters. Together, we can work to rebuild and aim for a swift return to the top. I'm committed to giving my all and helping the club navigate this journey."
