Man City's new triple threat looming after injury crisis causes early season slump in form
Man City's brutal injury crisis played a huge role in their dire run of form heading into the November international break.
Since the October international break, City have had to do contend with injury concerns surrounding Ruben Dias, Manuel Akanji, John Stones, Josko Gvardiol, Kyle Walker, Rodri, Kevin De Bruyne, Matheus Nunes, Jeremy Doku, Jack Grealish, Savinho and Oscar Bobb.
The growing injury crisis ultimately caught up with them as they fell to four successive defeats to Tottenham Hotspur, Bournemouth, Sporting CP and Brighton and Hove Albion, which saw them lose ground at the top of the Premier League table and Champions League league phase, and knocked them out of the Carabao Cup.

It was the first time in Pep Guardiola's career that he has lost four games in a row and the first time since City were taken over by Sheikh Mansour in 2008 that the club have lost as many games in succession.
With City in uncharted territory, Guardiola was keen to regroup during the November break as he looks to pick up the pieces of a squad decimated by injuries.
City are five points adrift of Premier League leaders Liverpool and will hope the majority of their injury concerns will be behind them ahead of a bruising festive period of fixtures.
However, there is a looming concern around further suspensions that could hamper their chances domestically. Players who pick up five yellow cards before the 19-game cut-off will receive a one-match suspension and City have three players who could be walking a tightrope in the coming weeks.
Goalkeeper Ederson, as well as Dias and Mateo Kovacic, have three yellow cards to their name and have a further eight games to avoid picking up two yellow cards which will see them pick up a suspension.
Guardiola will be desperate for three of his key players to avoid such fate and put further strain on an already stretched squad.
