Man United vs Chelsea score predicted as Ruud van Nistelrooy impresses again
Ruud van Nistelrooy will be looking to lead Manchester United to a second win in two games under his guidance when they welcome Chelsea to Old Trafford in the Premier League later today.
After Erik ten Hag was sacked, United acted quickly in finding his permanent replacement with the club confirming that Ruben Amorim is the new United head coach, signing on a two-and-a-half-year contract. Amorim will take charge of United for the first time after the November international break, so for now, Van Nistelrooy will remain in charge of the club.
The Dutchman led United to a 5-2 win over Leicester City in the Carabao Cup in his first game as United boss, and he will be hoping for a similar sort of result when they take on Chelsea in the Premier League. The last time Chelsea managed to win a game at Old Trafford came back in 2013, but the Blues have been impressive so far this season, currently sitting in fifth place and six points ahead of Van Nistelrooy's side.

Man United vs Chelsea score predicted
To complete this simulation, we used EA FC 25 and updated the squads with the latest injuries and suspensions.
We predict that United could set up in a 4-3-3 formation, with their line-up as follows: Onana; Dalot, De Ligt, Martinez, Mazraoui; Casemiro, Ugarte, Fernandes; Rashford, Hojlund, Garnacho.
We predict that the Blues could line up in a 4-2-3-1 formation, with their starting XI as follows: Sanchez; Gusto, Fofana, Colwill, Cucurella; Caicedo, Lavia; Madueke, Palmer, Neto; Jackson.
Chelsea had a fantastic chance fall their way in the 20th minute when Diogo Dalot's sliced clearance fell to the feet of Nicolas Jackson, but the striker's early shot curled just wide of the post – a huge let off for United. After a period of dominance for the Blues in the opening stages, United started to control the game and went into half-time with the lead grabbing a goal in the 44th minute.
Marcus Rashford and Casemiro combined well on the left with the latter lifting a pass over the top of the Chelsea defence for Rashford to chase. After latching onto the ball, the Englishman drilled a cross into Rasmus Hojlund, and some neat footwork saw the striker peel away from Levi Colwill before firing home to make it 1-0.
It should have been 1-1 just after the restart when Cole Palmer sent Jackson through on goal with an incredible through ball, but once again, his finish was poor as he fired his shot straight at Andre Onana. The 'keeper was forced into a few more saves as the Blues searched for an equaliser, but with 13 minutes to go, United doubled their lead against the run of play.
A turnover in possession saw Casemiro win the ball on the halfway line before flicking a pass to Bruno Fernandes, and after drawing Colwill out of position, the United captain played Hojlund through on goal. One-on-one, the striker did what Jackson failed to do down the other end as he curled his shot into the top corner, making it 2-0.
Christopher Nkunku gave Chelsea a glimmer of hope late on when he bundled the ball over the line from a corner in the 94th minute, but it proved too little too late as United continued their impressive home record against the Blues.
