United are being linked with a move for Bayer Leverkusen defender Jonathan Tah. According to TBR Football, the Reds have begun exploring a move to sign Tah in the summer of 2025.
Tah's contract at Leverkusen is set to expire at the end of the season, meaning he will be able to negotiate with clubs outside Germany in January Over a free transfer next summer. The report claims that United have held talks over signing Tah as a free agent at the end of the campaign.
However, the report also states that United will face competition from some of their Premier League rivals. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur have also reportedly held talks over signing Tah on a free transfer next summer.
Elsewhere, United are continuing to be linked with a move for Bayern Munich forward Leroy Sane. The Germany international has been heavily linked with a move to United in recent weeks, as his contract looks set to expire at the end of the campaign.
According to Sky Germany, United are still "monitoring" Sane's future at Bayern with a view to signing the former Manchester City forward. However, United will have to battle with Arsenal for the signing of Sane, who are also reportedly looking to sign the 28-year-old at the end of the season.
Despite United reportedly showing an interest in signing Sane, the report goes on to say that both Bayern and the player believe a contract extension could still be agreed.
