Manchester United could be set for a busy January transfer window based on some of the latest reports.

United signed players during the summer window but there is the possibility that more could be added to the squad in the New Year. The Reds will have to wait more than two months before they are able to complete any more signings for the second half of the season.

Erik ten Hag's side moved up to 12th place in the Premier League table at the weekend with a 2-1n victory over Brentford. Goals from Alejandro Garnacho and Rasmus Hojlund secured the three points for United, who will now prepare to face Fenerbahce in the Europa League on Thursday night.

United are being linked with a move for RB Leipzig striker Benjamin Sesko. According to Tutto Juve, the Reds are considering a move for the Slovenia international ahead of the January transfer window.

The report claims that United are "moving" to sign Sesko in the New Year, despite the striker signing a new contract with Leipzig in the summer that runs until 2029. However, Sesko was heavily linked with a move away from the Bundesliga club in the summer, with Arsenal one of several teams supposedly in the running for his signature.

The report also states that United could also sanction the exit of Joshua Zirkzee in January if they manage to sign Sesko.

Elsewhere, a separate report is claiming that Zirkzee could leave United in the near future. According to Calciomercato, the striker is being tipped to leave Old Trafford in the January transfer window.

The report claims that Juventus are a potential suitor for Zirkzee in the New Year. A potential loan deal for the striker has been mentioned as an option for all parties.

Zirkzee only signed for United in the summer in a deal worth €42.5million (£35.4million). Since arriving from Bologna, the striker has scored just one goal in his first 11 appearances for the club across all competitions.
