Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford has taken a personal transfer stance amid ongoing links surrounding his future.

Rashford, 27, has been tediously linked with a move away from his boyhood club in the last 12 months, with PSG said to be interested in the forward. With Erik ten Hag dismissed by United just last week, Rashford will once again be asked to work under another new manager as Ruben Amorim prepares to take the helm later this month.

But after an impressive start to the season, scoring four times in all competitions, the Three Lions international has made his feelings clear on a potential move away. Asked exactly what it means to him to play by club media recently, Rashford insisted: "It's a dream to play for the club."

While on the surface that may not look like much, the England star seems to have a spring in his step this season, especially after his wonderful assist for Alejandro Garnacho against Brentford last month.

"Football is football, and sometimes you have ups and sometimes you have downs, but you have to use these games to find momentum, find consistency, and just try your best to bring your best level in each game," he told Sky Sports after his performance against Barnsley.

"It's early to say [if the goals will keep coming], but I hope so. We'll move on to the next match now, rest, recover, and focus on the next one."

United are back in Premier League action against Chelsea on Sunday, bidding to build on their impressive midweek Carabao Cup success over Leicester City.
