Matt O'Riley has told of his love for Celtic after sealing another title - and admitted it would be "very difficult" to leave.

The midfielder has been the clear standout this season and has swept up every individual Player of the Year award going for his 19 goals and more assists throughout the campaign. It's been his best as a pro and has brought with it serious transfer interest from Premier League giants down south as well as across the continent.

Atletico Madrid tabled an offer back in January that was turfed out by the club as Brendan Rodgers insisted the player was too valuable to lose.

And now, with the season coming to an end - just the Scottish Cup Final to come next weekend - questions turned again to O'Riley's future. Asked by Sky Sports how difficult it would be to walk away from Parkhead should a bigger club come calling, the Denmark international was honest.

"That's a tough question. It would be very difficult," he said. "I've said before, the club means a lot to me. Right from day one, I fell in love with the club because the fans are so crazy and passionate. It's a proper family. One more game to focus on, and take it from there."
