Matt Ryan, Landry Shamet expected to play for Knicks this season

There is a strong expectation around the league that both Ryan (who has some Westchester ties) and Shamet (who was destined to make the Knicks' Opening Night roster before sustaining a separated shoulder) will play for the Knicks this season when they have to add players.
