Michael Nicholson given tongue-in-cheek earful from Celtic fan demanding transfer before chief offered a PINT

One Celtic fan attempted to take matters into his own hands as he heckled chief executive Michael Nicholson from his window.

The Hoops are yet to strengthen their squad with a number of positions, as we told you, on their shortlist of priorities. Fans have grown impatient in recent weeks if social media is a decent gauge with a goalkeeper and striker, as well as a left-back and left-sided centre-half all wanted by manager Brendan Rodgers.

Peter Vindahl Jensen, as we exclusively revealed, is the top target between the sticks and a supporter opted to grill money man Nicholson from his own house as he questioned when a new goalkeeper would arrive.

The punter yelled: "Michael? When you going to get a goalie mate?"

Nicholson's response went unheard before the fan once again chimed in, offering an olive branch as he added: "Do you want to come up for a pint?"

Nicholson has been busy this week as we told you earlier today. Matt O'Riley was the subject of a bid from Atalanta in the morning and we at Football Scotland exclusively told you Celts had rejected that £15million offer by the afternoon.

The Serie A side are still negotiating.
