Middlesbrough duo receive double award recognition in light of excellent recent form
Middlesbrough duo Finn Azaz and Emmanuel Latte Lath have received recognition for their fine form in November, with both receiving nominations for the PFA's Fans' Championship Player of the Month award.
Together, the pair helped Boro win four of their six games last month with the team scoring a combined total of 18 goals. Azaz and Latte Lath both produced fine form to make big contributions to those excellent numbers.
Finally getting the reward for his positive play throughout the season, Azaz finished November with five goals and four assists in his five games. He missed the defeat to Blackburn Rovers through illness, and his absence was felt as Boro lacked their main creative link.

Latte Lath, meanwhile, responded to losing his place in the starting line-up by finally re-finding his goal-scoring form. Netting at QPR after coming off the bench, the Ivorian striker regained his starting spot against Luton, where he provided a goal and an assist before his hat-trick and a further assist in his next outing against Oxford United.
The achievements led to both Boro players being nominated for the award, which supporters determine the winner of by voting on the PFA website. Boro are the only Championship side who have two players nominated for last month's award.
Competing with Azaz and Latte Lath are Sheffield United's Tyrese Campbell (6 games, 4 goals, 1 assist), Stoke City's Tom Cannon (6 games, 3 goals), Norwich City's Borja Sainz (6 games, 4 goals) and Leeds United's Ao Tanaka (6 games, 4 wins, 3 clean sheets).
Supporters can vote for either Azaz or Latte Lath to win the award on the PFA website. The winner will be announced by the PFA when voting closes. Each supporter is entitled to just one vote.
