Chris Finch, head coach of the Minnesota Timberwolves, found himself with a nasty injury during a playoff game following an on-court collision with one of his players.

With just a few minutes left in the April 28 match-up between the Minnesota Timberwolves and the Phoenix Suns, Timberwolves point guard Mike Conley unexpectedly collided with Finch, causing him to suffer a rupture to his right patellar tendon, according to CNN.

Finch was escorted off the court and Timberwolves assistant coach Micah Nori filled in. The Timberwolves won the game despite Finch’s injury with a score of 122-116, finishing out their first-round sweep of the Suns.

Following the team’s victory, Nori gave an update on Finch’s condition. “The whole team went down to the medical room and he’s obviously in great spirits and so are the guys,” he told reporters per CNN.
