Muskogee proves to be too much in doubleheader sweep for HHS

Apr. 17—The Muskogee Roughriders took down the Hulbert Lady Riders in a big way in a doubleheader on Tuesday, April 16.

The Lady Riders lost the first game 12-1 before losing game two 10-0. In game one, MHS got off to a hot start and quickly led 10-0 after two innings. MHS picked up 5 runs in each of the first two innings. MHS closed the game with a pair of runs in the fifth inning to secure the game-one win.

MHS didn't pick up a big inning in their game two win but used a steady flow of offense to pick up the 10-0 decision. MHS picked up 2 runs in the first and third innings and 3 runs in the second and fourth innings to secure the win.

The loss moves HHS to 11-13 on the season. The Lady Riders will be back in action on Thursday, April 18.
