Newcastle United send Callum Wilson to Neymar clinic as new return date emerges
Newcastle United striker Callum Wilson is hoping to be available for the first game back after the November international break.
It is understood the Newcastle star, plagued by summer back injuries and muscle issues, has been in the Middle East at the famous Aspetar hospital. It is the same venue that has helped nurse stars like Neymar, Lionel Messi and Erling Haaland back to full fitness.
Wilson is believed to have watched Newcastle's 1-0 win over Arsenal with fans in Doha but will be back to push for his first competitive minutes since May when United take on West Ham on November 25.

When asked about Wilson, Howe had told reporters last week: "He’s doing ok, he’s building his load again. There was no real injury but a feeling in his body he couldn't push as hard as he wanted to push and needs to push to play at this level. Physically you have to be perfect at this level.
"We’ll make a decision but he’s definitely out of this game and we’ll make a decision on how he feels for Nottingham Forest but with the two week gap, it probably makes sense to wait."
Former Barcelona star Neymar, now of Al Hilal, had spoken of the powers of Aspetar earlier this year and said: "At Aspetar, I was surrounded by the best.
"They're always centred on the latest advancements in science and sports medicine, pushing the boundaries of what's possible. Thanks to them, I feel confident about my long career and my pursuit of constant improvement."
