Sunday's game for the New York Jets, in Week 15 of the 2024 season, may have been the first time this year they've produced a solid win. A real, convincing, take-the-lead-from-a-late-game-tie victory over the Jacksonville Jaguars.
This was the week the Aaron Rodgers-Davante Adams connection finally paid off. Rodgers went 16-for-30 with three touchdowns and no interceptions, and despite that completion rate, he made each one count. Rodgers targeted Adams 12 times and Adams caught nine for 198 yards, which is the second-highest yards total of his career. All those years working together paid off everywhere, but especially on Adams' two touchdowns (the first of which was the 100th of career). Adams also had a 71-yard catch.
The Rodgers-Adams connection got the Jets to the tie against the Jaguars. But it was running back Breece Hall, who missed Week 14 with a knee injury and was originally questionable to play this week, who ran the ball into the end zone to score the Jets' winning touchdown late in the fourth quarter. And to tie it all up with a bow, Sauce Gardner snagged an interception with 44 seconds left in the 4th to snuff out any chance the Jags had of making a last-minute comeback.

Big man T'Vondre Sweat with massive recovery and run
T'Vondre Sweat, who weighs 366 pounds, saw the ball pop out of Joe Burrow's arms and didn't hear a whistle. So he picked it up and ran as far as he could.
Stop what you're doing and watch this Joe Burrow TD
No, seriously. Stop and watch what Joe Burrow does on this touchdown. He dodges a Titans cornerback with a little two-step and then throws the ball right to Chase Brown. When Burrow's cooking, there are few better.
Things were looking good for the Ravens after a big kickoff return, but then Giants QB Adoree' Jackson stripped MVP candidate Lamar Jackson of the ball.
Could Rodgers follow a similar path as Brett Favre and find a late-career surge with a new team? And elsewhere in the league, three QBs are facing intriguing contract situations after the season.
Nate Tice & Charles McDonald break down Bills/Lions as well as the four other best games of the week, including another win for the Philadelphia Eagles, this time over the cross-state sometimes-rival Pittsburgh Steelers, bringing Jalen Hurts' birds squad to 12-2. The guys also discuss a Denver Broncos win that was all about momentum after a costly Jonathan Taylor goal-line fumble, the Washington Commanders fighting off a late rally from the New Orleans Saints and a Cincinnati Bengals win over the Tennessee Titans that was about as messy of a game as you'll see all year.
The Pittsburgh Steelers and Philadelphia Eagles have plenty at stake in one of the NFL's best matchups of Week 15, while the Detroit Lions are eyeing their 12 consecutive win.
