Brentford are reportedly not willing to make a move to sign Celtic winger Nicolas Kuhn in January.

The winger is attracting admiring glances from the Premier League with Fulham and the Bees said to be among the clubs said to be monitoring the 24-year-old - who has already notched up 10 goals and 11 assists so far this season. The Scottish champions would likely command a hefty fee should he depart just months after his £3million arrival from Rapid Vienna last January and the player contracted until 2029 - with reports suggesting the club will hold out for a payday in the region of £24million.

The Standard report that Brentford have sent scouts to watch Kuhn during his first nine months in Glasgow's east end and hold an interest in the player. However, the club "are expecting a quiet January transfer window" and "could end up doing no business at all if their current form continues into the New Year" with Thomas Frank's side eyeing the upper reaches of the English top flight.

In terms of outgoings, misfit Johnny Kenny is currently on loan at Shamrock Rovers and impressed boss Stephen Bradley in the League of Ireland - despite his side narrowly missing out on the title. The striker has a deal at the club until January and is gaining valuable game time in the Europa Conference League - and netted in the 2-1 win over TNS on Thursday.

Bradley insists that the door was open to make the move for the 21-year-old permanent - if the Hoops can be brought to the negotiating table. He told The Echo: “The discussions are ongoing with ourselves and Celtic.

"Like I said, Celtic are in the driving seat, they call the shots, whatever they say goes it’s as simple as that, but we have a really good relationship at every level with Celtic. I think Celtic are quite clear on my feelings on what needs to happen but again all parties will need to sit down, Johnny included obviously and make a plan that we all agree on. But If you’re asking me, would I want him back here next year, I think yeah that’s quite straight forward of course I would.

Elsewhere, Alexandro Bernabei is a man in demand with several reports in South America suggesting that Internacional are preparing to ramp up talks over a permanent deal for the forgotten loanee. The Argentine made a £3.8million from Lanus in July 2022 and made 19 appearances in all competitions in his first season under Ange Postecoglou but failed to convince Brendan Rodgers before being shipped out on loan.

Reports suggest that Celtic have slapped a €10m (£8.3m) price tag on the left-back with the Brazilian club keen to make a move permanent. Football director Felipe Dallegrave and Caco Sabrinho are said to be preparing to flying to Glasgow to ramp up talks with the Premiership leaders.
