Nicolas Kuhn Celtic transfer sigh of relief as Brentford intentions become clear
Brentford have sent scouts to watch Celtic flying machine Nicolas Kuhn tear up defences in Scotland and Europe.
But the Bees won't be launching a January move for the German winger. Kuhn's stock has soared after an explosive start to the season which has seen him notch 10 goals and 11 assists in just 17 games. The ex-Rapid Vienna star has scored five in his last three outings - including a deadly double against former club RB Leipzig - and his red-hot form has alerted clubs down south.
It was reported earlier this week that Premier League duo Brentford and Fulham and made tentative inquiries about the 24-year-old, who is under contract until 2029. Celts boss Brendan Rodgers would be reluctant to lose the player he landed for a bargain £3million less than 12 months ago.

And it's likely the Scottish champions would demand an eye-watering fee that could even eclipse Matt O'Riley's record £30m sale to Brighton. However, The Standard report that Brentford have no plans to step up their interest in January and a move is not currently on the cards.
Thomas Frank already has plenty of firepower at his disposal, with Bryan Mbeumo and Yoane Wissa both scoring 15 goals between them already this season. But it's likely the Bees and London rivals Fulham will continue to monitor Kuhn over the coming weeks and months.
