Nottingham Forest boss Nuno names team to face West Ham amid huge injury boost
Head coach Nuno Espirito Santo has named his Nottingham Forest team to face West Ham United in this afternoon’s Premier League clash.
The Reds go into today’s game looking to continue their fine start to the season. They have an opportunity to record a third straight league win - a feat they have not managed in the top tier since 1999.
Nuno will once again have to watch from the stands at the City Ground as he serves the third of a three-match touchline ban. The Portuguese has made one change to his starting XI from last week’s 3-1 victory over Leicester City.
England international Morgan Gibbs-White returns to the side after overcoming an ankle problem, having missed the last two games. Elliot Anderson drops to the bench.
Ola Aina, Nikola Milenkovic, Murillo and Alex Moreno will once again make up the back line ahead of goalkeeper Matz Sels. Nicolas Dominguez and Ryan Yates will form the midfield partnership.
Gibbs-White will be supported by Anthony Elanga and Callum Hudson-Odoi in attack, with Chris Wood up front. The bench will be made up of Carlos Miguel, Neco Williams, Anderson, Taiwo Awoniyi, Harry Toffolo, Eric da Silva Moreira, Jota Silva, Ramon Sosa and Willy Boly.
Forest: Sels; Aina, Milenkovic, Murillo, Moreno; Yates, Dominguez; Elanga, Gibbs-White, Hudson-Odoi; Wood. Subs: Miguel, Williams, Anderson, Awoniyi, Toffolo, Moreira, Jota, Sosa, Boly.
