The Pacers acquired Siakam from the Raptors in a three-team deal that sent Bruce Brown, Jordan Nwora and three first-round draft picks to Toronto on Wednesday, according to ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski. The third team involved in the deal — the New Orleans Pelicans — sent Kira Lewis to the Raptors and a second-round pick to the Pacers, according to ESPN.
Siakam now joins a Pacers team that entered Wednesday tied for sixth in the Eastern Conference standings. The two-time All-Star is averaging 22.2 points, 6.3 rebounds and 4.9 assists in 39 games with the Raptors this season.
His departure comes weeks after the Raptors sent OG Anunoby, Malachi Flynn and Precious Achiuwa to the Knicks in exchange for RJ Barrett, Immanuel Quickley and the Detroit Pistons’ 2024 second-round pick.
Siakam will be an unrestricted free agent at the end of this season.
