Paul Warne makes triple Derby County change as he names team to face Plymouth
Paul Warne made three changes to his starting XI as Derby County looked to ruin Wayne Rooney's return to Pride Park with Plymouth this afternoon.
Kane Wilson was restored to the side at right-back while Nathaniel Mendez-Laing also returned to the team after featuring as a substitute in Wednesday's 2-1 win over Coventry City. Craig Forsyth also started for the injured Callum Elder, who was forced off against the Sky Blues due to a groin injury at half-time.
With Eiran Cashin suspended after picking up five bookings, on-loan Liverpool defender Nat Phillips continues in the heart of the defence. Warne's triple change is likely to lead to a return to a back four with Jacob Widell Zetterstrom in goal behind the quartet of Wilson, Curtis Nelson, Phillips and Forsyth.
