PITT 8 PREVIEW: Demons readying for conference tourney battles

Mar. 30—The Demons are looking to run it back again.

Crowder will be facing its conference fellow during the 2024 Pitt 8 Conference Baseball Tournament at Stuart, where the Demons are the defending champions for the last four tournaments.

The Demons earned their fourth-consecutive Pitt 8 championship title with last season's win over Stuart, and are looking to see if history will repeat itself once more.

Crowder has already seen multiple successes this season, including wins over Bokoshe and Howe. The Demons have also already battled against multiple Pitt 8 opponents during the early season, with tilts against the likes of Savanna and Stuart.

Kelton Bloxham and Logan Anderson lead the way for the Demons at the plate, with a combined three home runs and 19 RBIs. On the mound, the Crowder pitching rotation has thrown 23 strikeouts in the month of March.

The Demons will open up the latest edition of the Pitt 8 Conference Tournament on Thursday against Savanna.
