I played with Paul Pogba - I know who former Man United star should join after Juventus
Ex-Manchester United midfielder Paul Pogba has been backed to succeed at a new club following his departure from Italian giants Juventus.
Pogba is currently out of action after he tested positive for a banned substance last year. However, although his initial ban was set at four years, that was later reduced to 18 months by the Court of Arbitration for Sport.
It means the Frenchman can return to the pitch as early as March 2025, but it won't be at Juventus after the club followed through on their promise to negotiate an amicable exit for the player. As a result, speculation is now rife about where the 31-year-old will end up, while former Arsenal defender and French international Bacary Sanga has said a return to the Premier League would be a perfect fit for Pogba.

"The Premier League suits Paul Pogba - I would love to see him join Arsenal. It would be great - he has experience; he loves to play with young players around him - that is when he is most efficient," Sanga told Paddy Power.
"At the 2018 World Cup, that was when he was most efficient, as he had friends around him. Arsenal have a young, fresh team and I see him performing in an Arsenal shirt.
"He will get love from their fans. Now, he can start from scratch again - he's had time away from football, and he'll be back with a desire to get back into a good space and play football again."
Sagna and Pogba played together for France previously, so the former Gunners can also offer a unique insight into what the midfielder might be thinking.
If Pogba were to make the move to north London then it would be his third stint in the English top-flight. Both his spells at United proved largely unsuccessful, though, with the club letting him switch to Turin on a free transfer for the first time in 2012 before buying him back for an then club-record £89million in 2016.
While his best days in a Juventus shirt are now a distant memory for many, some would see signing Pogba on a free transfer as a gamble worth taking. He will also be eager to prove to everybody he's still got what it takes to perform at the top level, too, as his pathway opens up.
