Here are the player ratings of Plymouth Live's Argyle reporter Chris Errington from the Pilgrims' 1-1 draw with Derby County at Pride Park. You can give your marks too using our special widget further down this story.

Dan Grimshaw 6 - Derby were a real threat at corners, with good delivery and getting bodies around the Argyle goalkeeper which made it difficult for him to deal with them effectively, such as getting in clean punches or catching the ball. Did well to react just in time to an audacious shot from Jerry Yates from inside the County half which he was able to claw away from going into the net at the last moment.

Matty Sorinola 6 - A third start in eight days for Argyle after just one previous Championship appearance this season as a substitute. It looked like he was starting to get into a rhythm against Derby. With Joe Edwards out injured long term, Sorinola has the chance to stake a claim to be the regular right-back.

Kornel Szucs 6 - A solid enough display from Szucs, who is now off to be part of Hungary's squad for UEFA Nations League games against the Netherlands and Germany, but in the continued absence of the injured Lewis Gibson the Pilgrims could have done with him being stronger in the air because Derby tested them out quite a lot that way.

Julio Pleguezuelo 7 - Like Matty Sorinola, the Spanish defender has recently returned to action after being out of favour because of injuries to other and has given a good account of himself. It looked a little awkward for him at times playing as the left centre-back against Derby rather than on the right but he coped. Did make one rash challenge in the second half which led to a threatening free-kick for the home side but Kenzo Goudmijn's shot was into the Argyle wall.

Bali Mumba 6 - Had a tough time of it in the first half as Derby targeted his area of the pitch for their attacking play and Kayden Jackson got in behind the Argyle left-back too often, but Mumba did a better job of dealing with that in the second period.

Adam Randell 8 STAR MAN - Had only been rated 50-50 by Wayne Rooney to play against Derby after missing the previous two matches due to a thigh injury but the midfielder, and captain of the day, was still going strong all the way into second half stoppage time, tracking back to win the ball deep on Argyle's left in the closing stages. His free-kick equaliser in the 41st minute, which was deflected into the net off the head of Jerry Yates in Derby's wall, was his first goal in nearly 10 months, since a 1-1 FA Cup draw away to Leeds United.

Darko Gyabi 5 - Gave the ball away cheaply on a couple of occasions in the second half which almost led to Derby regaining the lead. The first time it went to nearby Jerry Yates, whose long-range shot from inside the County half had to be dealt with by Dan Grimshaw with some difficulty. Then, later on, Gyabi's misplaced pass went to Ben Osborn, who drove a low shot narrowly wide.

Morgan Whittaker 5 - This was another away game where Argyle did not show much attacking threat and Whittaker struggled to get involved against the club where he began his career.

Callum Wright 5 - Deservedly given the chance to play the number 10 position after impressing as a substitute in the 1-0 midweek win against Portsmouth but he could not get on the ball enough to cause Derby too many problems. It was following his weak headed clearance that Jerry Yates gave County an eighth minute lead with a spectacular overhead kick.

Mustapha Bundu 5 - Had a couple of promising runs playing in the wide left attacking role for Argyle in the first half but they did not lead to anything for Argyle and he could have helped out Bali Mumba better defensively at times.

Michael Obafemi 6 - Playing as a striker in away games for Argyle is hard work, no matter who it is, because the service is sporadic and not always of great quality. Obafemi made the best of it against Derby but did not have much to show for his efforts in terms of any attempts on goal.

SUBSTITUTES

Freddie Issaka 5 - Was a 68th minute substitute and took over from Mustapha Bundu in the wide left role but was unable to make much impact as Derby did nearly all of the attacking.

Ryan Hardie 5 - Also sent on in the 68th minute and Argyle had Hardie and Michael Obafemi on the pitch at the same time but not for long as Derby's dominance meant the visitors' main focus was on holding on for a draw rather than trying to get a winning goal.

Adam Forshaw - The midfielder was a 78th minute substitute for Michael Obafemi, which was a sure sign that the Pilgrims were looking to see the game out at 1-1.

Victor Palsson - Sent on at the start of four minutes added time at the end of the match with Matty Sorinola the one to way make for him.

Substitutes: (not used): Marko Marosi, Nathanael Ogbeta, Jordan Houghton, Andre Gray, Rami Al Hajj.
