Portsmouth may be bottom of the Championship table with only one solitary win to their name so far this season but it's not denting the enthusiasm of a travelling support, for who an away game is often an adventure. Pompey supporters often face gruelling round-trips to follow their team given the location of the club on the south coast, with the fans of the Championship side one of the most travelled in English football.

This Saturday the club's supporters face a 524-mile round-trip to the MKM Stadium for a 3pm kick-off, a journey which offers few incentives given the club's current poor season and lack of victories to celebrate. However, that's not denting the enthusiasm for Portsmouth supporters, with 2,000 of them expected in Hull on Saturday for what could be one of the biggest gates of the season so far at the MKM Stadium.

Portsmouth have confirmed they have already sold more than 1,900 tickets for the game and are anticipating selling out their entire allocation, which will add to the atmosphere as Tim Walter's team try to return to winning ways after successive draws offered plenty of encouragement in their last two outings.

Pompey, meanwhile have just one win and eight points to their name so far this campaign and have been beaten in their last two outings. However, they have collected more points away from home than at Fratton Park, with five points coming on their travels.
