Wycombe Wanderers striker Richard Kone has revealed ‘there is no negativity’ around the training ground as the Chairboys continue their good start to the season.

The Adams Park side currently sit in third place, just one place and one point off the League One automatic places, winning seven of their 11 games in the league.

They have scored in each of their 17 fixtures in the division, with their last blank being in the 0-0 home draw against Derby County at Adams Park on April 10.

Speaking after his recent hat-trick in the 3-1 victory over Peterborough United on October 19, Kone, who has scored eight goals in 15 games this season, said: “It’s down to the work that we do at the training ground.

“We’re always working to try and learn.

“I always want to improve myself, so I am also learning from the boys as well.

“Learning from players like GMac [Gararth McCleary], Dan [Harvie], [Luke] Leahy, Sam Vokes…they are all trying to help me do well in this league and I am really pleased.

“There is no negativity as we all want each other to do well.

“We have that positivity in the group.”
