Predicted Hull City line up for Watford as Ruben Selles eyes winning start to MKM Stadium reign
Ruben Selles will have the chance to pick his first starting XI on Wednesday night when Hull City host Watford.
Selles was appointed last Friday but watched Saturday's defeat to Blackburn Rovers from the directors' box. He took charge on Monday with a couple of training sessions before tonight's visit of the Hornets.
In his final game as caretaker boss, Andy Dawson made five changes to the side with Alfie Jones and Xavier Simons missing out through injury. Ryan Giles, Ryan Longman and Chris Bedia were also drafted back in from the cold. Jones is rated as touch-and-go for Selles' first game in charge, while Simons is unlikely to feature.

The Spaniard's first starting line-up will be an interesting one, given he will have watched every City game back on video, as well as seeing a couple of training sessions for himself. It may give an indication of what we can expect moving forward.
Kasey Palmer was probably City's stand-out at the weekend before coming off, much to the frustration of the home supporters. The attacking midfielder will hope to continue in the number 10 role while Steven Alzate impressed off the bench and is due a first start for the club.
At the back, bar Sean McLoughlin's own goal, City actually defended well against Rovers, but Selles faces a big decision over whether to recall Alfie Jones.
City's predicted starting XI: Pandur, Giles, McLoughlin, Hughes, Coyle (c), Alzate, Slater, Longman, Palmer, Kamara, Bedia.
