Raiders vs. Chiefs: Best anytime NFL TD scorer bets for Christmas football

The NFL's holiday weekend slate ends with a Christmas Day triple-header of games starting with an AFC West divisional matchup in Kansas City. The Las Vegas Raiders (6-8) head east to Arrowhead Stadium for their second game of the season against the Kansas City Chiefs (9-5).

Las Vegas heads on the road after setting a franchise record for points scored with a 63-21 win over the Los Angeles Chargers on Thursday Night Football. Chargers coach Brandon Staley and general manager Tom Telesco were both fired following the loss. The Raiders' defense forced a season-high five turnovers and the offense had its best game of the season behind four touchdown passes from rookie quarterback Aidan O'Connell. Las Vegas is still alive in the AFC playoff hunt and that big win gives them momentum ahead of the final three games of the regular season.

NFL Week 16 picks: Cowboys, Dolphins set to clash with huge playoff implications at stake

Kansas City got back on track last week against the New England Patriots with a 27-17 win on the road. Quarterback Patrick Mahomes had his best game of the month in that victory despite throwing a pair of interceptions. The Kansas City defense remains one of the best in the league and the offense could use a good game on Monday to make a push before the playoffs start.

These two AFC West foes met in Week 12 with the Chiefs grinding out a 31-17 win in Las Vegas. Kansas City could use another win to avoid playing a road playoff game for the first time in Mahomes' career. Las Vegas, though down in the wild card standings, is not out of the picture for the playoffs. A road win against a divisional opponent would greatly help the Raiders' chances at a postseason berth.

Best anytime touchdown bets for Week 16 Monday Night Football

Las Vegas Raiders running back Josh Jacobs (+180)

The Kansas City Chiefs' defense is very stout but has allowed a running back to score in seven of the last eight games. Jacobs had an outstanding game in that Week 12 matchup - 20 carries, 110 yards, and a touchdown - and could be the Raiders' best bet for winning on MNF. He's the only running back to have an 100-yard game against the Chiefs' defense in 2023. Jacobs missed the win over the Chargers but practiced Friday and could be set for a bounce-back game in a return to the lineup.

Kansas City Chiefs running back Isiah Pacheco (-125)

Pacheco's missed the last two games after a shoulder procedure but is set to return this week. His last game came in Week 13 against the Green Bay Packers and Pacheco had 123 total yards and a touchdown. A week earlier, he had just 55 yards rushing but managed two touchdowns against the Raiders. He's one of just two running backs to score a touchdown against on the Raiders in the last seven weeks. His return is good timing for the Chiefs' offense ahead of these final few games and he can continue his scoring streak at home on MNF.

Las Vegas Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams (+215)

Adams had a solid game against the Chiefs in Week 12 - five catches for 73 yards - but after last week's game and extra days of rest, Adams could make it two weeks in a row with a touchdown. Jakobi Meyers was the only Raiders wideout to score in Week 12 but Adams has been by far O'Connell's favorite option in the passing game. Adams is also a standout in primetime games and could shine on Christmas Day.

Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Rashee Rice (+130)

It's been tough to determine which Chiefs wideout will perform best week-to-week in 2023 but Rice is making his case over the last month. The rookie leads the team in targets over the last four games and has scored three touchdowns over that span. The Raiders have been stout against tight ends in 2023 with just three touchdowns allowed to the position all season. Though Travis Kelce is the popular pick to score, Rice may have a better shot on MNF given how often Mahomes is looking to him.
