Rangers missing 11 players for Dundee clash as Philippe Clement lists growing casualties

Philippe Clement will be without ELEVEN Rangers players for tomorrow's game against Dundee and admits he needs a more robust squad for next season.

Injuries seem to have been a major story of the Light Blues' season with players like Danilo and Oscar Cortes out long terms and others like Kemar Roofe and Tom Lawrence, and plenty more, struggling with persistent niggles. It hasn't helped as they fell behind Celtic in the title race and Clement knows it's something that needs to change.

John Souttar was forced off injured at half-time against Celtic and John Lundstram was sent off, so both are unavailable. Dujon Sterling and Tom Lawrence are two others to join the casualties list following derby defeat and the manager will now be down to the bare bones when picking a team for tomorrow night.

He is without Souttar, Lundstram, Sterling, Lawrence, Cortes, Danilo, Connor Goldson, Leon Balogun, Rabbi Matondo, Abdallah Sima and Bailey Rice.

The Belgian said: "We have 11 players missing tomorrow, this is a major thing that we need to change heading into next season. There is going to be a turnaround in the squad this season, we have been working hard on this for months.

"Souttar, Goldson, Balogun, Sterling, Lundstram, Lawrence, Cortes, Matondo, Sima, Danilo & Rice will all be missing for tomorrow."
