Storm Bert is wreaking as SPFL fixtures up and down the country fall victim to the wintery conditions.

Yellow weather warnings are in place across most of Scotland with heavy snow, torrential rain and blustering winds battering parts of the country. The weather has also brought significant disruption, with the treacherous conditions being deemed unsafe for travel.

The Queensferry Crossing has been closed as a safety precaution due to a risk of falling ice, while Motherwell have advised their supporters to avoid driving on the A9 ahead of their 3pm kick-off in Dingwall against Ross County. A Well spokesperson said: "The club have been in touch with the SPFL and the match officials.

"The match officials and the Motherwell team travelled up yesterday. We are advising fans not to travel on the A9. As it stands, the game is currently going ahead."

St Mirren have also pleaded with volunteers to help them clear their pitch and surrounding areas of their Paisley home and the fixture has been pushed back to 4pm. St Johnstone's meeting with Kilmarnock at McDiarmid Park has been delayed until 3:15pm.

Rangers host Dundee United in the other afternoon showdown and it's been announced that the match will be delayed by 45 minutes. A club statement read: "Owing to the expected late arrival of the Dundee United team due to travel delays, this afternoon’s match has been delayed until 15:45. Rangers thanks our supporters for their patience and understanding, and advises caution when making the journey to Ibrox today."

The Ibrox club's SLO has urged fans to take extra care when arriving at the stadium. A message on X read: "Due to slushy and wet conditions around the stadium, please take extra care underfoot when arriving at Ibrox. We’re working to ensure key areas are as safe as possible, but we advise all supporters to tread cautiously. Thank you for your patience and stay safe!"

Supporters travelling to Ibrox should be aware that the M8 at J3 remains heavily congested after several vehicles lost traction in the snow. Traffic is moving albeit extremely slowly, with delays of up to an hour.

There's two evening fixtures too, with Hibs making the journey to Dundee's Dens Park for a 5:45pm kick-off and champions Celtic visiting Tynecastle for Sky Sports' 7:45pm televised clash against Hearts. As things stand, both games are expected to go ahead.

Most lower league games have already seen their games called off due to frozen and waterlogged pitches. You can check out the full list below:
