Rangers host Heart of Midlothian in the Scottish Premiership with both sides needing some top-flight points.

The sides come into this after contrasting fortunes in European competition midweek. Philippe Clement's side rescued a point in the Europa League in Greece through Cyriel Dessers' second-half strike, as they look to build on their League Cup semi-final victory over Motherwell. Rangers need to find a way to make up ground on the league's top two and can't afford to surrender any points.

Hearts lost 2-0 to Bundesliga side Heidenheim on Thursday evening in the Conference League and head coach Neil Critchley would love to get back on track with a win in Glasgow. Lawrence Shankland hasn't been firing like last season yet and he too will be craving a return to form with a significant performance. Here, Football Scotland tells you everything you need to know about the clash.
