Reading Ratings: Blackpool cruise to comfortable victory for Hunt's first defeat
Reading were on the end of a deserved 3-0 victory for Blackpool in front of nearly 15,000 supporters at the Select Car Leasing Stadium.
Take a look below at our player ratings.
Joel Pereira, 6: A weird afternoon for the keeper as despite conceding three goals, the Portuguese stopper made three or four crucial saves to keep the score down.
Michael Craig, 5: Lost possession for the Blackpool second goal and provided less going forward than he usually does. A tough day with the back four left exposed far too often.
Amadou Mbengue, 5: Far too many aimless balls forward which gave Sam Smith little chance of holding onto. Brave to go up for the header but was taken off at half-time with fears over his awkward landing.
Tyler Bindon, 5: A quieter and less noticeable day for the teenager, who is usually so impressive. Just looked half a yard off his game, as did the entire squad in an obvious 'off day.'
Andre Garcia, 5: Targeted throughout and a tough day for the 17-year-old. Beaten almost at will and let far too many crosses into the box. Against a wilier opponent, the youngster looked like a boy in a man's game, which he hasn't been guilty off too frequently.
Lewis Wing, 5: A real 'off day' for the skipper, who cut a frustrated figure throughout. The midfield looked a yard off the pace on the day and Wing was unable to put his stamp on the game.
Charlie Savage, 5: Still brought the same energy, as he always does, but he appeared to rush everything. Had one or two half-chances which were rushed and less effective than they should have been. Once trailing by two, the entire midfield was overrun.
Ben Elliott, 6: The one midfielder that looked most likely to make something happen, he had times where he beat the opponent on the half-turn and looked to drive with the ball.
Harvey Knibbs, 5: Not his most effective performance, seeing little of the ball after missing a golden chance to open the scoring early in the first half. Should have had a penalty given against him when he was tripped up.
Sam Smith, 5: A match in which Smith was starved of service and hardly saw the ball all day.
Chem Campbell, 5: Similar to Knibbs, hardly in the game as the wingers were well neutralised by the Tangerines.
Substitutes
Louie Holzman, 6: Did a decent enough job when coming on at half-time but the Royals were already trailing by two.
Mamadi Camara, 5: A bit of a mismatch physically and struggled against a stronger side. Had little to no impact off the bench.
