Reading boss Ruben Selles has made seven changes for this afternoon's FA Cup First Round clash with Fleetwood Town, opting to give youngsters the opportunity to impress.

With Charlie Adam's Cod Army 15th in League Two, some may expect an easy afternoon. However, with the Royals in the thick of a hectic schedule and firing in three competitions, rotation had to be made.

On Tuesday, Reading were heavily beaten 4-1 at Stockport County, while Cheltenham Town host Reading in the EFL Trophy on Tuesday.

David Button has been given the nod at the expense of Joel Pereira, while Ashqar Ahmed, Louie Holzman and Tivonge Rushesha join Tyler Bindon in the back four.

Charlie Savage and Ben Elliott remain in the midfield from a regular league side and are joined by teenager Shay Spencer, who has impressed in cup games to date.

A familiar front three of Chem Campbell, Jayden Wareham and Mamadi Camara all featured at Edgeley Park.

The likes of Harvey Knibbs, Amadou Mbengue and Adrian Akande all provide options off the bench if required, with no replays meaning a winner will be decided today.
