Edouardo Camavinga starts today’s El Clasico tie between Real Madrid and Barcelona in the Supercopa de Espana.

Carlo Ancelotti is missing David Alaba and Aurelien Tchouameni in Saudi Arabia, while Eder Militao is included despite being injured during the win over Valencia.

Eden Hazard, Rodrygo and Marco Asensio are on the bench as Madrid look to deny Barca boss Xavi a first trophy in charge of their great rivals.

Dani Carvajal and Ferland Mendy come in at full-back on either side, while Luka Modric will return to partner Toni Kroos and in midfield with Federico Valverde in the frontline.

Ancelotti’s side are looking to defend their title claimed in 2022 and, even despite their injury problems, remain one of the most experienced teams around in games of this stature.

Real Madrid XI: Courtois; Carvajal, Rudiger, Militao, Mendy; Camavinga, Modric, Kroos; Valverde, Benzema, Vinicius Jr.

Subs: Lunin, Lopez, Vallejo, Nacho, Hazard, Asensio, Odriozola, Ceballos, Rodrygo, Mariano, Martin.
