RiverHawks earn All-MIAA honors
Apr. 22—A trio of Northeastern State women golfers made the Mid-American Intercollegiate Athletics Association's end-of-year team.
Yasmin Hang led the way for the RiverHawks with a place on the All-MIAA Second Team. This is the third time Hang has picked up an All-MIAA nomination. After making the NCAA Tournament last season, the senior averaged 76.71 strokes per round. Hang had five finishes that were 11th place or better.
Sam Maceli and Jessica Parker joined Hang on the All-MIAA Third Team.
Maceli led the RiverHawks this season with an average of 76.07 stokers per round. Maceli finished in the top five once this season and the top 10 twice. Parker finished the season with the third-best average on NSU's squad. Parker averaged 77.08 strokes a round this season. The sophomore finished in the top five twice and the 10 four times.
NSU started the MIAA Championship on Monday, April 22 and continued play on Tuesday, April 21.
