Manchester City take on Tottenham Hotspur this evening looking to punch their ticket in for the Carabao Cup quarter-finals.

The Cityzens beat Watford 2-1 in the third round, in a match which saw Pep Guardiola hand a full debut to 16-year-old defender Kaden Braithwaite.

Guardiola could well turn to some of his youngsters again for the visit of Ange Postecoglou's side, with six players set to miss the game through injury, and some important Premier League and Champions League games on the horizon.

And ahead of the visit of Spurs, Manchester Evening News have rounded up the latest injury situation at the Etihad Stadium.

Rodri

Injury: Anterior Cruciate Ligament (ACL)

What we know: He may well have won the 2024 Ballon d'Or but Rodri will miss the rest of this season after suffering a serious knee injury. The hope for City will be that he can be fit to start when the 2025-26 campaign begins.

Potential return date: August 2025

Kevin De Bruyne

Injury: Thigh

What we know: De Bruyne has not featured for City since limping off during their 0-0 draw with Inter Milan on the opening night of this season's Champions League back in September.

City are taking every precaution possible to ensure the Belgium international is fully fit before returning, given he missed an extended chunk of action during the first half of last season, too.

Potential return date: Tottenham (h), November 23.

Jack Grealish

Injury: Unknown

What we know: Grealish picked up an injury that has ruled him out of the wins over Sparta Prague and Southampton. Guardiola said last week it could keep him out for 10 days and while he will not be risked against Tottenham, he could return for the weekend trip to Bournemouth.

Potential return date: Tottenham (h), November 23.

Kyle Walker

Injury: Unknown

What we know: Having featured for England during their international fixtures this month, Walker has missed City's last two matches with a fitness issue.

Guardiola has not put a return date on it but it is hoped he will be fit to return at the weekend.

Potential return date: Bournemouth (A), November 2.

Jeremy Doku

Injury:

What we know: The winger has suffered an injury that is likely to sideline him until after the November international break.

Guardiola said last Friday that the issue would take a few weeks to recover from.

Potential return date: Tottenham (h), November 23.

Oscar Bobb

Injury: Broken leg

What we know: Having arguably been City's best player during pre-season, Bobb suffered a broken leg on the eve of a season where he was expected to play a huge role.

It is hoped the Norwegian winger will return to action over the festive period.

Potential return date: December 2024
