Ruud van Nistelrooy drops major triple Man United injury update ahead of PAOK
Ruud van Nistelrooy has revealed he hopes to have Christian Eriksen, Mason Mount and Antony in his Manchester United squad to face PAOK in the Europa League. United are searching for their first win in Europe's second-tier competition this season after drawing their opening three league matches.
Van Nistelrooy, who is set to take charge of his penultimate game as interim head coach before Ruben Amorim takes over on Monday, has a couple of injury concerns to deal with. Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Leny Yoro, Harry Maguire and Kobbie Mainoo remain out, but he does hope to get three back available.
Speaking to the United club website, Van Nistelrooy said that Eriksen, Mount and Antony are nearing a return and should be back in the squad for the game against PAOK.

Eriksen has not played a single minute under Van Nisterooy due to a "knock", missing games against Leicester and Chelsea, while Mount has missed the last six matches after suffering a head injury in the 3-0 defeat to Tottenham back in September. Antony, meanwhile, has been out with a sprained ankle.
The United interim manager said: "It's looking that we are going to add some people to the bench that were injured before. We just trained, we're going to check how things are and hopefully we can get Eriksen, Mount and Antony back in the squad."
There is some positive news around the condition of £52million summer signing Yoro after he returned to team training earlier this week. The Frenchman, who suffered a metatarsal injury against Arsenal in pre-season, is not expected to return and make his debut until after the November international break.
"That's a good sign," Van Nistelrooy said when asked about how Yoro following his return to training. "He had a long recovery, he has been back with the team for the first time, he is not ready for games but it's a good sign. He had a reception from the rest of the team as well."
United confirmed the appointment of Amorim as their new head coach on Friday. The 39-year-old is set to take charge of his first game against Ipswich on Sunday, November 24.
"At the start of the season and the president is here to confirm it, I had a conversation with him and [Hugo] Viana and said that regardless of what happened, it would be my last season with Sporting," Amorim said after confirming his exit from Sporting CP and becoming the new United boss.
"United became interested, paid the release clause and the president defended the club's interests. I never discussed anything with the president but my only request was that I wanted to leave at the end of the season. That wasn't possible, it was now or never.
"I had three days to decide on something that changes my life. It's not the first time I've had my release clause triggered by another club and not the second. I wanted that club and that context, just like when I joined Sporting. It's difficult for me to leave.
"I didn't say anything earlier because I couldn't. Decisions are like this. United showed interest and if I rejected it now, in six months, I knew I wouldn't be at Sporting. The only club that I want and that moved me."
