Santa presents Celtic stars with Premiership title on Trophy Day after Christmas boos
Christmas comes twice a year, apparently, as Celtic fans discovered this afternoon.
Santa Claus was the man to present the Scottish Premiership title to the players on Trophy Day after a 3-2 win over St Mirren did the business. The big man in red was the guest of honour on the matchday as he came from the tunnel with the silverware to place it on the podium before Callum McGregor and Joe Hart would hoist it above their heads to celebrate three-in-a-row.
It comes after the controversial moment back in December when Jolly old Saint Nick was BOOED at Parkhead as Brendan Rodgers' side lost at home to Hearts.
Lawrence Shankland and Stephen Kingsley scored that day and, at half-time, Father Christmas was asked to spread some festive cheer. But it didn't quite go down that way and punters let him have it!
All has been forgiven, though, with Saint Nick full of smiles as he handed off the trophy.
