'Scary' Mike Tyson video emerges as fans now certain of Jake Paul fight outcome
Mike Tyson has stunned boxing fans with his impressive showing in an open workout ahead of his big fight with Jake Paul.
The legendary heavyweight faces the YouTuber-turned-boxer in a hotly-anticipated bout in Texas on Friday night, with the fight being streamed live around the world on Netflix. It will not only be the biggest challenge of Paul's career, having only turned professional in 2020, but will mark Tyson's first official fight in nearly 20 years.
The 58-year-old retired from boxing in 2005, before returning to the ring for an exhibition match against Roy Jones Jr four years ago. However, his clash with Paul has been sanctioned as a professional bout.

The fight had been originally scheduled for July, but an ulcer flare-up saw Tyson taken ill on a flight and led to the clash being postponed on medical advice. However, fears over the boxing legend's health - and the fact he is fighting a man over 30 years younger than him - now seem to have been firmly allayed by the man himself.
At an open workout in Dallas on Tuesday, Tyson rolled back the years as he delivered the same ferocity and power in his punch that earned him the nicknames 'Iron Mike' and 'the Baddest Man on the Planet'. He didn't hold back as he backed his trainer into the corner of the ring and delivered his infamous left hook as well as some powerful and unexpected combinations.
Videos of the session soon made their way on social media and fans were all left saying the same thing as they were blown away by Tyson's condition and are now backing him to win.
"Mike Tyson is looking SCARY," wrote one viewer, with another adding: "Tyson's still got it! Jake Paul better be ready for a REAL fight!".
Another fan predicted the fight would be over in "30 seconds or less," writing: "If Tyson can unleash one of those legendary punches early on, Mike Tyson could end it before Paul's Instagram live feed even loads.
"Jake's made a MASSIVE mistake here," remarked one viewer, while another admitted he had changed his mind after previously writing off the veteran fighter. "This is a real heavyweight in front of our eyes," they wrote. "I take back everything I said about his age and speed."
Tyson admitted this week he thought "what the f**** have I done?" after his first day back in the gym to prepare for the fight, but is now in a good place ahead of the big event. "I've got through the process," he explained "And I'm feeling great right now."
