Who will score a touchdown in Super Bowl 2024? Anytime scorer bets for 49ers vs. Chiefs

There has never been a Super Bowl in NFL history that has ended without one team scoring a touchdown. There have only been three instances ever of a team failing to score a touchdown after making it to the big game: the 1971 Dolphins, the 2018 Rams and the 2020 Chiefs.

As the 2024 Super Bowl between the San Francisco 49ers and the Kansas City Chiefs draws closer, both teams will be looking to avoid adding another entry on that list. Neither team finished in the bottom half of top-scoring offenses during the regular season, and each featured multiple touchdown scorers during this postseason.

For bettors looking to wager on strong offensive performances in Sunday's game, these are the top picks for an anytime touchdown scorer in Super Bowl 58.

Super Bowl 58 picks: Will 49ers or Chiefs win out on NFL's grand stage in Las Vegas?

Super Bowl 58 top bets: Anytime touchdown scorers

All odds courtesy of BetMGM as of Sunday evening.

Chiefs TE Travis Kelce (-105)

Kelce has scored a touchdown in each of Kansas City's last two playoff games. He's also scored a touchdown in two of his three Super Bowl appearances. With superstar girlfriend Taylor Swift in attendance, this bet is worth throwing some action on, even with minus odds.

49ers WR Brandon Aiyuk (+175)

Aiyuk has just one touchdown so far this season, but it came after an incredible catch during the 49ers' big comeback against the Lions in the NFC championship game. The fourth-year receiver has more targets than his tandem partner, Deebo Samuel, this postseason and two touchdown catches in his last four games.

Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes (+400)

Mahomes hasn't scored a single rushing touchdown since December 2022. However, given his ability to improvise out of structure and seize any moment, particularly on the NFL's biggest stage, it's easy to picture the gunslinger finding the end zone on Sunday night.

KC Defense/Special Teams (+600)

Last year, Chiefs linebacker Nick Bolton returned a fumble 36 yards for a touchdown against the Eagles in the Super Bowl. This year, Kansas City had one of the best defensive secondaries in the league. They will be looking to make a big play against a young quarterback that threw four interceptions against another one of the NFL's top defenses – the Ravens – on Christmas Day. (Not to mention, NFL Network's resident future seer Peter Schrager predicted a Chiefs defensive touchdown back in September.)

49ers FB Kyle Juszczyk (+900)

In the biggest game of the season, an offensive mind like 49ers head coach Kyle Shanahan will be emptying out the playbook. Juszczyk is one of San Francisco's biggest X-factor playmakers on offense and made some big plays as a blocker and pass-catcher in the NFC championship game. He could be rewarded for those efforts with a touchdown of his own on Sunday night.
