Shocking Swansea City goal record Leeds United must take full advantage of
On paper it's a no-brainer. One of the Championship's best defences will come up against the least potent attacking force in the division when Leeds United face Swansea City at the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.
While Daniel Farke's side have been banging them in at one end, and largely keeping them out at the other, the Swans have had a barren time in front of goal. That they sit in mid-table during the current international break is testament to a reasonable defence than any attacking prowess.
Leeds will head to South Wales as strong favourite to continue their promotion push, and it's easy to see why. They plain facts are that Luke Williams' side have scored just three Championship goals in their last eight matches - and two of them came in one game, a 2-1 victory over Oxford United.

In fairness, they followed that with a 1-0 home victory over Watford, although Myles Peart-Harris' winning effort is the only one in the goals-for column at the Liberty Stadium since September. In total, Swansea have netted just 11 times in the league all season, the worst record of all 24 sides.
Basement team Queens Park Rangers have 12 goals, and then it's a jump to Cardiff (14), and Preston and Plymouth (15). By contrast, Daniel Farke's Leeds have scored 24 times this season already, making them the second-highest goalscorers in the division behind Sunderland (25).
Only League Two Tranmere Rovers have scored less that Swansea across the whole of the EFL - League One Stevenage also have 11 - and it's something manager Williams is acutely aware of.
“These are professional footballers," he said last month after a goalless draw at Sheffield Wednesday. "They are motivated guys, they have quality, so a bit of pressure isn’t going to be enough to stop them. “It is sometimes about finding your flow, a patch of form, sometimes a bit of rub of the green. We will be OK… we will start scoring goals, there’s no doubt.”
While recent results have helped somewhat, Leeds will be confident of ensuring they don't discover their goalscoring touch on Sunday. Farke's men already have four away day clean sheets and will be aiming to make it five this weekend.
